‘Officially Gassed – OG’ uploaded a video of three tuned BMW M cars take on each other – the M140i, the M2, and the M3 Competition

All the cars feature the same a 3.0-liter, six-cylinder turbocharged engine (although tuned differently) and power only the rear wheels

The M140i makes 650 HP and 649 lb-ft of torque. It is mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox

The M2 puts out 590 HP and 579 lb-ft of twist. It is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission

The M3 Competition churns out 580 HP and 582 lb-ft of torque. It is mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox

The M140i weighs around 3,197 pounds. The M2 is around 475 pounds heavier at 3,671 pounds, whereas the M3 is the heaviest of the lot, weighing in at 3,924 pounds

First up was a 0-60 mph run. The M2 completed it in 3.52 seconds, followed by the M3 in 3.74 seconds, and the M140i in 4.29 seconds

Next up were quarter-mile runs but the results were the same. The M2 finished in 11.38 seconds, the M3 in 11.73 seconds, and the M140i in 11.95 seconds

Third round was the drag race which looked like the M140i’s race, but it lost to the M2. The M3 Competition came last

Finally, it was the rolling race from 50 mph in the first round and faster in the second. The First Place – M140i defeated both its rivals to come first. The M2 and the M3 Competition came second and third, respectively
