Cyberpunk 2077 was released on December 10 on most platforms and it's quickly taking over the world of first-person shooters. It's not the kind of game we'd usually feature on these pages, but like any cool video game out there, Cyberpunk 2077 features a few cool cars you can drive. But I'm not here to make a list of them, I just want to go nuts over the fact that Cyberpunk 2077 features the awesome 930-generation Porsche 911 Turbo. It's the original 911 Turbo from the 1970s and the only car I ever want to drive in this game.

Just look at that livery and how good it looks on a digital car. Porsche released a few photos of the real-life 911 Turbo and I swear the game car looks better. Of course, it's always better to drive the real thing, but it's just amazing how good the 911 Turbo was rendered here.

It makes me just want to go on a tour of Night City without any reason or mission whatsoever. And even though the game takes place in the future, the livery has 1970s written all over it thanks to the silver paint combined with the black rear end and the red and white stripes over the rear fenders.

What is the Porsche 930?

Introduced in 1975, the Porsche 930 was the turbocharged version of the first-generation 911. Commonly known as the 911 Turbo, it is sometimes referred to as the 930, even though it is not a separate generation of the 911 like the 964, 993, 996, and so on. In production until 1989, when Porsche launched the second-gen 911 (964), the 930 Turbo was offered initially with a 3.0-liter flat-six rated at 256 horsepower. In 1978, Porsche enlarged the turbocharged engine to 3.3 liters, increasing output to 296 horses. Output increased once again in 1983, reaching an impressive 325 horsepower. In its most potent iteration, the 930 Turbo needed just 4.6 seconds to hit 60 mph, while its top speed was rated at an amazing 173 horsepower.

The U.S. version of the 930 Turbo featured a similar engine, but output was lower due to stricter emission regulations. The 911 Turbo debuted with 234 horsepower in 1975 and was upgraded to 261 horses in 1978. In 1986, output increased to 282 horsepower. The latter was just as quick as the European version with a 0-to-60 mph sprint of 4.6 seconds, but top speed was limited to 155 mph. As the first ever turbocharged 911, the 930 Turbo is now a sought-after collectible.
