Have you wondered which one of these Fast and Furious cars is faster in a standing one-mile drag race? Since we never really got to see that for real, YouTuber Ericship111 put together this race in the Virtual world i.e on Forza Horizon 6.

Overview

These two right here have to be some of the most iconic movie cars of all time. Enthusiast or not, both cars went on to inspire a generation and their impact can be felt up to this day.

The green car was featured with Brian O'Connor, played by the late Paul Walker, in the opening sequences of the Fast and the Furious, while the orange one made an appearance towards the end. Without further ado, let's quickly take a look at the two cars and how they stack up against each other.

The Fast and Furious Eclipse

Let's kick things off with the very green 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse. Its super aggressive body kit with that giant wing and the over-the-top graphics sure did have quite the impact even during the car's brief appearance.

The car featured a turbocharged 4G63 engine that put out 355 horsepower and weighed 3,198 pounds. You can learn more about the Fast and Furious Eclipse in the video below.

The Fast and Furious Supra

As Brian lost the opening race against Dominic in his RX7 and the green car was destroyed by Johnny Tran, a 10-second car was now owed to Toretto. Enter the 1995 Supra.

Painted in Diablo candy orange, with a super aggressive body kit and wing that is just as purposeful as the one on the Eclipse, this Supra still does look the business to this day with those outrageous graphics. Under the hood was a highly modified 2JZ twin-turbo mill that produces 770 horsepower and weighs 3,328 pounds.

The Race

Now, looking at the numbers, you really didn't think that the Eclipse was going to win, did you? Perhaps those two extra NOS tanks could have come in handy, I hear you say. But it is what it is. This one-mile drag was a walk in the park for the Supra and it took the win with a huge margin.

Lets Wrap It Up

So, there you have it; a definitive answer to a question you never really asked, but you now know anyway. The OG Fast and the Furious still does it for me to this day and remains my favorite.

I don't really understand the Fast and Furious Saga today, because it has now evolved into this over-the-top franchise while the first few series of films were about tuner cars. This is exactly why I haven't seen any of the films after the third installment and I continue to savor the early films.
