Turning 75 years old is a pretty big deal, especially if you’re an automaker that has stood the test of not just time, but also consumer preference. So when the big day comes that you turn the big 7-5, there’s good reason for you to celebrate.

For Jaguar->ke39, that day is today, September 23rd. To celebrate their big day, the iconic British marque hosted a group of 75 individually-numbered Jaguar models for a nice two-day joy ride, passing by a number of historical locations, including the May Fair Hotel in London, the very site of the first Jaguar unveiling way back in 1935, on its way to its destination at the Goodwood Revival.

While the meet was undoubtedly one of the highlights of the celebration – it’s not often you see some of the most legendary Jaguar models at the same place at the same time – Jaguar also took the time to introduce one of its latest toys, the 2011 Jaguar XKR 75.

There’s no question that Jaguar ranks right up there among the most esteemed automakers to ever come out of the UK. That’s why a celebration of this magnitude is most definitely deserved, especially for an automaker that has produced a multitude of classics and exotics in its 75 years of existence.

Happy 75th, Jaguar!
