Jaguar’s New Campaign Emphasizes Beauty and Power

Jaguar’s lineup is nothing short of spectacular, but to give the guys over in Marketing something to do with their time, Jaguar has launched a new campaign that highlights the beauty and power of the top three dogs: the Jaguar XF, XJ, and XKR-S.

The Jaguar XF has been described as the quintessential sedan. It’s sportiness and elegance are accompanied by a choice of three diesel powertrains and two petrol versions. For the diesel, you can opt for a 2.2-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged engine, a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged engine, and a 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbocharged engine, with power ranging from 187 HP to 275 HP. As for the two petrol engines, you have a choice between a 5.0-liter V8 and a 5.0-liter turbocharged V8. The former comes with 385 horsepower and 380 lb/ft of torque whereas the latter hits 510 horsepower and 461 lb/ft of torque.

The newest generation XJ is the first Jaguar model built on the company’s aerospace-inspired aluminum body technology. It sports a sleek and sophisticated design that’s a far departure from the past versions of the luxury car. The all-new Jaguar XJ brings a daring new spirit to automotive luxury, offering a seductive mix of striking design, breathtaking performance and engineering without compromise. US customers will only get the 5.0-liter V8 engine, in both naturally aspirated and supercharged versions, delivering a range from 385 hp to 510 hp. European customers will also get a 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine producing 187 HP.

The new Jaguar XKR-S features exclusive new paint colors that reflect Jaguar’s racing heritage. As with competition Jaguar cars of the past, the exterior of the XKR-S adheres to the principle of form following function. Adrian Hallmark, Jaguar’s new Global Brand Director, describes the car as a "bold and exciting new model for Jaguar". He adds: "The styling of this car isn’t about image, it’s about true performance. Like other iconic Jaguar cars before it, the styling has been driven by geometry and aerodynamics for genuine design purity." Power for this elegant and stylish sports car comes from an AJ-V8 all-aluminum powerplant with twin-vortex Roots-type supercharger that delivers a total of 550 HP and 501 lb/ft of torque. This setup makes the XKR-S’ engine the most powerful Jaguar road engine ever made.

Aside from beauty and power, I suggest Jaguar to be actually functional. They should add better features to their innovations.

I think that even if they don’t start this campaign, the people watch out for Jaguar cars’ appearance and performance anyway.

Everybody tends to generalize. It’s why this campaign is helpful to Jaguar, although this may seem like a simple display of their collection. At least with this, people will learn how to distinguish the beauty and power of each Jaguar car among the others.

Perhaps everybody already knows the beauty and power Jaguar cars possess, but they don’t particularly distinguish which. That’s why this is an exemplary move from Jaguar, to promote their product and flamboyantly display their main highlights.

Why do they need to do this? Isn’t Jaguar already popular in the first place? Anyway, it’s better that they decide to flaunt each of their innovations’ flawless beauty and power.

I think it is great that Jaguar sets on a new campaign to promote their cars. We are assured that the car was built with beauty and beast in terms of speed and power.

It was great that Jaguar has emphasized the beauty, and the power that a car must contain. I love their new-generation plans and concept.

It’s nice to know that Jaguar comes up with these ideas. I think this will be more helpful to their concept towards a positive look.
