There have been quite a few rumors flying around saying that the English automobile builder Jaguar will be unveiling a new concept vehicle at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. Now the chaps from Coventry are fresh off of debuting the next generation XJ luxury limousine stateside in Miami and it has already been confirmed that the new Jaguar XE's official debut will take place one year later in Geneva. The special occasion being that 2011 is the E-Type->ke1246's 50th anniversary. So the question remains, what will Jaguar be presenting at the show?

Our best guess is that with the ever growing high luxury sports car segment with more and more four door GT cars, we might be in for a Porsche Panamera->ke1840 rival. With more of an emphasis on efficiency from both lawmakers and consumers Jaguar will be offering some more fun from their lineup of V6 engines by offering the six piston pumper in both naturally aspirated and supercharged variants. We know that the soon to be 2011 XE will be offered with the new V6 engine, but is will also feature a hybrid drivetrain, so perhaps what we are waiting for is an XE inspired four passenger Grand Touring sedan that will serve as a showcase for a very green blown V6 gas/electric dream machine, much like Infiniti's Essence->ke3379 did last year in Geneva.
