Jay Leno’s been out of the public spotlight ever since he relinquished his seat as host of the Tonight Show to Conan O’Brien.

The affable comedian, known for his witty wisecracks and passion for cars, returns from his public hiatus to host the launch of the all-new 2010 Jaguar XJ at what is expected to be a lavish and glamorous event at the Saatchi Gallery in London on Thursday, July 9.

Leno will be joined on the stage by Mike O’Driscoll, Managing Director of Jaguar Cars.

The 2010 Jaguar XJ is one of the most highly anticipated launches for 2010 and with the countdown reaching its last leg, the car Jaguar hopes can lead their brand out of its financial troubles is about to be let out of its cage. You can catch the official unveiling live on July 9, 20:30 BST at the Jaguar website.

After months of breathless anticipation, the 2010 Jaguar XJ will finally be set loose and knowing Jay Leno, he probably already has one parked in his garage.
