Those familiar with Ken Block knows this professional driver doesn’t do things half way. Case in point: this 2014 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor modified by Block’s own Hoonigan Racing into a go-anywhere, 650-horsepower beast lovingly called RaptorTRAX.

With the powdery white stuff melting off as summer approaches, Block takes the RaptorTRAX out for one last run of the season. The truck obviously got its start as a Ford Raptor, but was modified with Mattracks at each corner to provide unsurpassed grip regardless of conditions. The suspension system also got a work-over, helping compensate for the 300-plus pounds each track adds to the unsprung weight. A fully integrated roll cage keeps the front occupants safe and extends through the cab and into the bed, keeping the two, rear-facing passengers safe as well.

Beyond safety, the truck boasts a Whipple supercharger atop the Raptor’s 6.2-liter V-8. The blower helps the engine crank out some 650 horsepower. The six-speed automatic transmission and two-speed transfer case remain intact.

As the video shows, the RaptorTRAX has no problem conquering deep snow drifts and high altitudes. The truck just blows right through everything in its path. Surprisingly the truck remains tossable as Block gets the truck’s tail moving sideways Let’s just hope this isn’t the last time we see the RaptorTRAX in action. Perhaps Hoonigan Racing will swap the Mattracks for a set of tires for the summer months.
