Kia announced the company will add two new models to its line-up: a new version of the Sorento SUV and an all-new Euro-built baby MPV, currently known by its internal codename ‘YN’.

First to arrive will be the Sorento. It will mkae its world debut next March at the Geneva Motor Show and will be available in both 5 and 7 seats versions. Its design will be inspired by the KND-4 Concept revealed last year at the Seoul International Motor Show. For the Europen model, the Kia will be powered by a 2.4-liter gas engine and two diesels, inculding a new 2.2-liter 185bhp motor. The chassis is rumored to be a monocoque design, so it will lose some of its off-road and towing capacities but will gain a more carlike ride.

The new MPV will be revealed at the end of 2009. It will share the same platform as the new Kia Soul and Hyundai i20. No word yet if the little MPV will make it to the U.S., but it is unlikely considering that type of car is usually not popular here.
