Koenigsegg is celebrating Valentine’s Day in style. The hypercar purveyor rolled out the mighty Regera on a snow-covered airstrip at its factory in Angelholm, Sweden for some recreational fun. Rare is the day when you see Koenigsegg’s $1.9 million hypercar let its hair down. But it’s the day of love, and Koenigsegg wants to celebrate it with all of us through this video of the Regera that's having the time of its life in the snow.

This is a fun video to watch, especially because you don’t always get to see a car like the Koenigsegg Regera in an environment like this. Koenigsegg’s super limited hypercar — production is capped to only 80 units — is more likely to be found tucked inside someone’s garage. On the rare times that it’s taken out, the Regera is usually found throwing down on a race track. But on an empty airstrip that’s blanketed by snow? That doesn’t happen a lot if it does at all.

But it’s Valentine’s Day, and Koenigsegg is showing its love by letting the Regera run loose. You can see it skidding all over the place even as nighttime falls without a care in the world as classical music plays in the background. It even does snow burnouts around a heart-shaped tire mark that's incredibly difficult to create.

Not everyone celebrates Valentine’s Day, but it’s still a nice video to watch on a day that reminds us how fortunate we still are despite the raging global pandemic happening around us. At the very least, we can take comfort knowing that the simple thrills of watching a 1,500-horsepower hypercar playing in the snow can bring some joy to our hearts. Well done, Koenigsegg.
