A while ago Aston Martin announced that it had dropped their plans of building a Lagonda SUV, and that it would focus instead on a sedan model. This model will supposedly be a more luxurious and more powerful version of the Aston Martin Rapide and is schedule to debut sometime in 2014. However, thanks to the creative people in the world, we now have a little sneak peek at what the Lagonda sedan may look like.

The future model will be built on the Rapide's ‘VH architecture’ aluminum bonded chassis and will get the vast chrome grille and narrow headlights have been carried over from the Geneva concept, a long bonnet, sharply cut lines and small side glass areas.

The future Lagonda sedan will be powered by a modified version of the Rapide's 6.0 liter V12 engine with an output of more than 500 HP. This will help the luxury sedan to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in less than 5 seconds and to hit a top speed of 190 mph.

Talking about the future model, an Aston Martin spokesman said: "Lagonda will have separate character. It will offer driver enjoyment – but the idea is to put all four occupants in a state of luxury. It will be very comfortable indeed."
