A few days ago we got the pleasure of seeing a cool Lamborghini concept called the Cnossusthat was designed by a couple of students with the permission of the company themselves. Today we got to see another cool Lamborghini concept study. The Lamborghini Navarra is the work of an American by the name of Adam Denning who is a designer for Lockheed Martin USA.

His car was created as a successor for the current Murcielago model: "I tried to imagine all the V12 flagships of the brand from theMiura to the Murcielago, and then create a car that would look like it not only belonged in this group, but that it was the result of these cars as well. I was very inspired by Michelangelo’s La Pietà. The way Mary’s garments flow down and fold over each other was the main inspiration for the Navarra’s overlapping surfaces and organic shapes.

Denning, who has a masters in Automotive Design from the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan, Italy, says the Navarra will use a carbon-fiber frame and carbon-fiber panels. The power behind the concept would be a powerful V12 engine producing between 650 and 700 bhp.

Honestly IMO, there is too much stealth-fighter-based characteristics found in recent Lambo renderings such as this car. And it all began with VW toying Lambo’s design language and produce limited (and ugly) edition cars such as the Reventon.

It seems that while taking now a days the lamborghini concept design is really having a wild and very futuristic concept design.
