Earlier today we reported that Lamborghini's future Murcielago will hit a top speed of 225 mph. Now we can confirm that this deliciously smooth and sleek supercar will be revealed at the Paris Auto Show in October. Known internally as the "New V12", the next Murcielago will borrow design elements from the Reventon->ke2866, and will feature clean, crisp surfaces, trademark aggressive air intakes, and sharply sculpted all-LED lights.

Of course, a future supercar would not be complete without some changes under the hood. The new Murcielago will have a 7.0-liter V12 engine that will produce in excess of 700bhp and 700Nm of torque (go, baby, go!). The car will sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 3 seconds, while top speed will be in the 225 mph area. The engine will be mated to a seven-speed, paddleshift automated manual gearbox.

The interior will be trimmed in carbon and Alcantara and will include a hi-tech sat-nav and a jet-style head-up display.

In the words of Jim Carrey in Dumb and Dumber, "I like it a lot".
