Lamborghini is planning something special for the Geneva Motor Show next month. After some special version of their Murcielago (including here the evolution, the LP 640, the LP640 Roadster Versace, and some limited edition of the baby –Lambo, Gallardo Nera,) we think the Italian maker is working at something serious. We should remember firs the Miura concept. Their rivals from Ferrari have four different cars in production, f430, 599 GTB and 612.

The Gallardo is a certain rival for the F430 but Lamborghini is not competing with the other two models. You should think the Murcielago is the response for the 599 Fiorano, but that is more like a cruiser, even if, in terms of performance they are quite close. A production model of the Miura might be the answer. Another possible variant is a successor for the legendary Espada, a front-engine 2+2 model which we presented earlier as a 2009 model.

A SUV should be also an answer, a new model as the LM002 replacement. There were many information about a V10-powered super SUV coming by mid-2009 who will share the platform with the new Porsche Cayenne, VW Touareg, and Audi Q7.

Finally the last supposition is a light weight Gallardo, which make sense if we think of the upcoming F430 Challenge Stradale.
