If the current Range Rover Sport is just not enough for you, you will be happy to know that Land Rover->ke46 is preparing a more powerful version. Set to wear the new "RS" badge, this new performance tag will be applied to both the Evoque->ke3666 and Range Rover->ke469 models and are expected to arrive starting the end of this year.

Rumors suggest that the first to arrive will be the Evoque RS version, even though spy photographers caught the Range Rover RS testing at the Nϋrburgring->ke999 race track.

The Range Rover RS->ke469 will be offered with a supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 engine that will deliver around 542 horsepower - 39 horsepower more than in the current Range Rover Sport. On the other hand, the Evoque RS will get a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with an output of 300 horsepower. Both versions will be offered with modified suspensions and larger wheels.

As for the exterior look, the new RS models will be offered with a unique front bumper design and larger large air intakes, while the rear will get a new bumper and lower skid plate.

Range Rover Sport

The current-generation Range Rover Sport was unveiled at the 2013 New York Auto Show. The model is offered with a choice two gasoline engines in the U.S. market.

The base version is powered by a 3.0-liter V-6 supercharged engine that delivers a total of 340 horsepower, while top version gets a 5.0-liter V-8 supercharged engine that delivers a total of 510 horsepower.

Range Rover Evoque

The current Range Rover Evoque was unveiled at the 2010 Paris Auto Show and no major updates were announced since then. The model was initially offered in a three-door version, with a five-door version arriving one year later. The Evoque turned out to be a pretty successful SUV as in its first year of production a total of 88,000 units were sold.

The Evoque is offered with only one engine in the U.S. market: a 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 240 horsepower.
