There’s just something about Legos and cars that go together, isn’t there? I know when I was younger, my favorite toys were Hot Wheels and Legos. I can’t count the number of times I built garages for my Hot Wheels cars out of Legos or cars out of my Legos just for fun. This new commercial from Lego, title “Rebuild the World” doesn’t exactly feature any Hot Wheels cars, but the point behind it is the same.

There are so many classic cars involved that it’s hard to count them all on the first go. At one point, there’s a Harley chasing down a Bunny that is, oddly enough, cruising in a Caterham Seven. There’s a Land Rover Series II, and there’s even an old-school Chevy Bel Air Convertible and a bunch of BMW Isettas too. At one point, there’s even a Peugeot 404 Sedan and a Lambretta scooter of all things. Hell, Lego went all out and even included a Bullitt chase scene. Can you believe that?

The point is that some of the cars in this short commercial are even offered as real Lego sets. The Mini Cooper, VW Bus, and VW Beetle are all part of the Lego Creator Series. Remember the classic firetruck Lego set? Well, the firetruck in this commercial has a striking resemblance, to say the least.

For what it’s worth, the commercial is worth spending the 1:44 out of your life to watch it. I even watched it twice as something about it just made me think about my childhood. Maybe it will do the same for you. You can check out the video just a little further down the page. Enjoy!
