Just a few days ago, we were given a more thorough look at the upcoming Lexus RZ 450e, which will be the brand's first electric vehicle (EV) that's riding on a dedicated EV platform. For reference, the Lexus UX 300e rides on a platform that's meant to utilize an internal combustion engine (ICE). This time around, the Japanese luxury automaker is giving us a look at its three-row electric SUV.

For now, it's simply called the Lexus Electrified SUV, and it's part of the brand's shift towards a lineup that's all-in on electricity. The Lexus Electrified SUV forms just a part of its future EV product portfolio that's composed of an electric sports car with the LFA's "secret sauce", along with even a wagon, a hatchback, and a sports sedan.

The Lexus Electrified SUV's front end wears a similar closed-off version of the RZ 450e's spindle grille, and this is then flanked by a pair of LED headlights with stacked LED light bars for daytime running lights. There are also a few perforations at the side of the grille, most likely for cooling the electric motors.

At the sides, the Electrified SUV features angular and chunky wheel arches, a lower chrome garnish, a chrome strip that flows along the SUV's roofline, and a black contrasting roof. The design is more upright than the Lexus RZ's, and this hints at its three-row seating.

While we've already seen its front and side angles before, this will be the first time we're seeing its rear end. As with every new and upcoming Lexus vehicle, there is an LED light bar dominating its rear end, and in lieu of the "L" badge is the Lexus script written across the tailgate. This is a design trait that started with the NX and then was adopted by the LX. Lastly, the rear bumpers also were carved in a way that its horizontal elements lead up towards the taillights.

That's all the information we have for now regarding the Lexus Electrified SUV. Lexus has announced back in December, that by 2030, its lineup in Europe, North America, and China will be composed purely of EVs.
