It doesn't matter how fast or powerful your car might be; there is always someone better than you on the market. When Lexus brought the IS-F on the market they thought they will smash a lot of competitors. And maybe they did, but not the right ones. This is why they are now working on a super-lightweight IS-F with extra power and torque, designed to close the gap on the BMW M3 and Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG.

The new mode will be called IS-F/R and will be powered by a 5.0-liter V8 engine with a maximum output of 429 horsepower and a peak torque of 376 lbs-ft. The curb weight will also be cut by a dramatic 220 lbs.

But the good news stop here! If produce the car will be much more expensive than the standard IS-F. With 40%! Ouch that hurts!
