Suzuki hit the jackpot with the overachieving Jumny when the lastest generation made its debut. Everybody adores it. It is a car that you could proudly drive to a car meet, and people would gather around to witness the awesomeness of a raw, off-road ready, tiny machine from Japan. Liberty Walk saw an opportunity with the Suzuki Jimny, and they released a new body-kit. Yup, a Liberty Walk body-kit for the new Suzuki Jimny. We live in an awesome time.

You know what? The body kit is much the same as what one could order for the Mercedes-Benz G-Class. It looks similar. It is not sized as such, of course, but it's strikingly similar. As I noted in my first review about the Jimny, this one is much like a baby G-Class.

As Liberty Walk gearheads obviously live deep within car stardom, they revealed two similar kits for two similarly awesome cars that are dramatically different in size. This is actually the first time that Liberty Walk devised a body kit for a truck - one for the G-Class, and the other for the Jimny.

Suzuki Jimny Liberty Walk Kit

The new kit gives a somewhat flamboyant character to an already courageous off-road truck. Wataru Kato, Liberty Walk founder and all around awesome guy published a picture of the modded Jimny on Instagram right after publishing the pic of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class with much the same looking body-kit.

As is the case with Liberty Walk kits on smaller, usually stanced cars, the Jimny received massive wheel arches, but the rest of it has been reimagined with off-road in mind. For me, the most astonishing addition is the front bumper which actually looks much the same as on the AMG G63. Then, with white surrounds of the front lights, black carbon hood with an air scoop, and wheels similar in design to what one can see on the Liberty Walk Mercedes G-Class, the Suzuki Jimny looks just right. The roof also got the same additions as the G-Class. All with LED lights and full-length roof cover I presume.

Is It All Just A Rendering?

Yes, it is.

While this body-kit seems quite awesome, it is obvious that it is just an amateurish rendering. Many pieces are simply shrunken down from the G63 and smacked on the little Suzuki Jimny. This does not mean that Liberty Walk tricked us. They will definitely make it. The Suzuki Jimny Liberty Walk body kit even has a name - OEP 222, but what we see on the one photo attached is just a rendering for now.

They did mention the G-class and the Jimny as well, noting that the orders are open right now. Is there anyone who would not like to get a spin in this Jimny. It’s just neat.

While those massive wheels on the G-Class most certainly can spin to some insane speeds thanks to a powerful V-8, I am eager to find out how will the tiny Boosterjet spin these on the Jimny. It will not be a fast SUV by any measure.

And it has a name - the G-mini.

I AM IN LOVE. L.O.V.E.

I don’t even care if it is photoshopped by an amateur.
