It’s not the kind of limousine you expected, but it’s the kind of limousine you want to ride in now that you know it exists

The Limo-Jet is a limousine that’s wearing the body of a Lear Jet. It’s also a functional vehicle that was envisioned by Dan Harris and brought to life by Frank DeAngelo and Michael Kashevatsky. Now owned by Illinois-based Jetsetter, Inc., the Limo Jet is not only a work of immense creativity and ingenuity, but it’s also completely street legal. When was the last time you saw something like this? Never? You and all of us together.

After many, many, many years of blood sweat and tears we present to you the world's first and only only Lear Jet...

It looks like a Lear Jet on the outside, albeit one that’s been completely modified for road travel, hence the four wheels. The streamlined body comes from an actual private jet that’s reconfigured to fit into what the people behind the project were trying to build. The long pointy noise is there. So is the cockpit-style dashboard, the long tube-like shape, the jet engine pods, and the unmistakable vertical wing at the back. The whole body wears a red metallic finish with matching decals thrown in for good measure. Those jet engine pods come with lights, too, in case the Jet-Limo wants to be noticed more than it already is.

Big moment in Limo-Jet History...

Inside, though, is where the Limo-Jet lives up to its name. Specific details are still scarce, but from what we’ve gathered, the interior is filled to the brim with luxury amenities. There’s enough seating for a party of people. There are lights, speakers, and screens all over the place, too. Given its purpose, don’t be surprised to see a mini bar there, too. Perhaps even a DJ booth. Move to the front, and there’s single seat for the pilot/driver. He also has a lot of screens at this disposal, presumably the functional types that can help him navigate this massive luxury liner with an eight-cylinder engine wherever it goes.

Couple of teaser pictures coming your way...

Arguably the best part about the Limo-Jet is that it’s completely street legal. How it became street legal is a story for another day, though. What’s important is that after 12 years of research and development, the Limo-Jet has finally come to life. We’ll know more about the Limo-Jet as the final pieces of its build are completed. For now, sit back and enjoy its magnificence. We didn’t think we’d see something like the Limo-Jet come to life, but now that it’s here, we’re going to enjoy looking at it as much as we can.
