Aston Martin builds some really awesome cars, with models like the DB11 and the V12 Vantage S coming to mind every time the big AM comes up in conversation. But, Aston Martin is expanding its reach and is venturing into the world of real estate with a brand-new residential tower that will be located at the mouth of the Miami River. Developed by Coto Family and designed by Luis Revuelta and Bodas-Miami-Anger, the groundbreaking will take place in the summer of 2015 with completion estimated to come as early as 2021. It’s set to offer a great view of not only the Miami River, but the Biscayne Bay, and the Brickell skyline as well.

Inside, it will house a total of 391 units in 66 stories, most of which will be one- to four-bedroom residences. But, there will also be two private lobbies, a two-level fitness center with an ocean view, and a full-service spa – all designed by Aston Martins own design team. That means you can expect to see none other than the brand's trademarks everywhere, including official brand colors, stitching patterns, and even some polished wood, leather, and carbon fiber. Finally, there will be a total of seven penthouses and one duplex penthouse. According to the floor plans found here, the residences inside will range in size from 698 square-feet for the one-bath studio all the way up to nearly 4,000 square-feet for the four-bedroom, 4.5-bath unit that also includes a library. Meanwhile, the penthouses come in at around 12,000 square-feet with four bedrooms, 6.5 baths, and room for family and staff!

The interior isn’t the only thing that’s a big deal here, however. The tower itself will reside on the very last lot in the mouth of the Miami river, which means that it’s right on the water. As you can see from the renderings here, the building looks like it belongs in the UAE, and will feature an infinity pool on the 55th floor to go with a private yacht marina. There’s no word on pricing for the various residences available, but you can contact Miami Residence Realty to inquire about specific residences and even make a reservation.

Why it Matters

If you’re a fan of Aston Martin, you just might be able to find yourself at home in one of the residences inside this future AM tower. The location itself is prime and the view in that area, especially for the upper levels, will be hard to beat. Of course, your level of wealth will come into play, as I’m sure even the smaller one bed, one bath units will probably cost you a pretty penny, but something tells me that if you can afford it, it will be more than worth it to call any of the residences inside the tower home. It’s also located within walking distance of places like Whole Foods, Brickell City Centre, and Mary Brickell Village, so there’s that. Either way, it will certainly be interesting to see how this development turns out after the turn of the decade.
