Ok, so a 1980 Chevrolet Monte Carlo might not be a truck, but Freiburger and Finnegan sure treat it like one in the latest installment of RoadKill. The dastardly duo decided that each would plan the trip and buy the vehicle separately – without them knowing the others’ plans. After some failed reverse psychology, the pair ended up with this – the Monster Carlo.

Without giving away the plot, the pair ends up with a ratted-out Monte Carlo that’s complete with a full hydraulics set-up and a bank of batteries and hydraulic motors in the trunk. Under the hood lies a rather pathetic 3.8-liter Buick V-6 that is apparently not mounted to the frame.

Oh, and it has an open rear differential.

Freiburger and Finnegan experience everything from blown tires and busted hydraulic lines to a broken windshield and getting bogged down in gravel. Yep, it’s a pretty solid episode all around. So pop yourself some popcorn, click yourself into full-screen, and crank the volume.
