When it comes to the Fast & Furious series, there are a few things that seem to be a natural fit. After seven movies->ke3897 (with an eighth on the horizon), it’s hard to disconnect the franchise from the video games,->ke2888 car manufacturer promos, and poorly fitted aluminum wings we’ve seen over the years. Now, there’s another befitting item to add to the list, as Universal Studios will offer its theme park visitors the chance to experience the excitement with a new ride called Fast & Furious Supercharged. The above-featured video->ke278 is a six-minute look at what went into the ride’s creation, with scenes from the movies, interviews with the cast, and lots of on-set action.

The entire original cast was on-hand for the creation of the film used with the attraction. “Once you go to the ride, that’s an opportunity to physically feel some of the adrenaline that we feel every day while we’re filming,” says Vin Diesel.

“So you can imagine, if you try to shoot an experience like we’re creating here of driving through the streets of LA at 120 miles an hour with the actors and the cars and the special effects, that it would be impossible to shoot,” says Chick Russell from Universal Creative. Regardless, the crew seems to have pulled it off.

“I can honestly say in my blood, heart, soul and bones that this ride is exactly that – it’s a thrill ride,” says Dwayne Johnson.

Fast & Furious Supercharged opens at Fast & Furious Supercharged this summer, June 25.
