When you’re dead, you really don’t care as to what car brings you to your grave, right?

So why is it that we’re seeing an increasing number of high-end four-door sedans get turned into a hearse?

We’re guessing that despite being dead, these people would still prefer to ride in class and if taking a Maserati Quattroporte and turning it into a hearse is their idea of class, then hey, who are we to judge.

As far as Quattroporte’s are concerned, we don’t know what it is about this particular car, but it seems that it’s been subjected to a lot of modifications over the years – and not the kind where they soup it up. From being covered in shattered glass, to getting stretched out into a limo, to getting turned into a fire truck, the Maserati Quattporte has undergone more facelifts than Lady Jocelyn Wildenstein. Ok, that’s not true.

Nevertheless, this particular Maserati Quattroporte was modified by Intercar Modena and to be fair, it actually looks classy and elegant compared to other funeral hearses we’ve seen in the past. At least, it has that going for it.

Kirby’s first exposure into the world of automobiles happened when he caught Knight Rider on television as a five-year old boy. David Hasselhoff didn’t leave much of an impression on him (that happened later on in Baywatch), but KITT certainly did. To this day, Kirby remains convinced that he will one day own a car with the same ‘spirit’ as the original KITT (not the 2008 monstrosity). He doesn't know when that will be, but until then, he’s committed to expressing his love for KITT, and all cars for that matter, here at TopSpeed.  Read More

Well I guess that’s what they mean by going away in style. Not bad at all. Every friend or relatives who passed away deserves good treatment and having this car will surely say a good statement that the deceased is loved dearly (or that he is just that rich).

I will really recommend this one... not in my colleagues but in those oldies. They might get used of the car. Since the near end is coming for them.

What a funny looking car. But totally classy....when your in a coffin. But if i am going to choose among all the variety of cars when I feel I’m going to pass away I will definitely choose this one.

Not bad at all... well, it doesn’t really matter what car (as long as it is running and it looks neat) is used as a hearse, it doesn’t need that much power (unless it’s carrying heavy stuff) nor speed.

based on the Image, it is clearly photo edited, and why maserati needed to create their own hearse out of quattroporte? isn’t that a bad image to a well known company car like maserati?

I will take it... even if its a hearse.. well I guess the they will only used by some rich people. i wonder how much would it costs to build a quattroporte hearse.
