McLaren 765 LT Spider is enjoying a lot of attention from tuners lately. Just recently, Novitec refined the look of the sports spider and added an extra 90 horsepower under the hood. Now TopCar came with its own upgrade for the 765 LT Spider, and while its updates are not groundbreaking in terms of performance, it completely changes its exterior look.

TopCar's Carbon Fiber Upgrade for the McLaren 765LT

TopCar built this special 765 LT Spider at the customer’s request. All the exterior panels were replaced with new body panels with glossy carbon fiber, but the tuner kept all the original parts. This means that if the customer changes their mind, the tuner can take the car back to its original look in just 3 days of work. All the changes made to the exterior look didn't affect the car's aerodynamics at all. In fact, TopCar put some extra air intakes on the hood which allows the car to "breathe" better while running.

The Carbon Edition package consists of more than 90 carbon parts and elements, made from a choice of: Twill 2×2 (McLaren original carbon fiber), Twill 4×4 (Pagani Style) or exclusive Stealth Special Edition Carbon. All the parts can be done with an individual selection of various color shades.

Updates to the exterior look include, among many others, a new front bumper and new fenders with extra air ducts, new side skirts, and for the rear a new bumper, new fenders, and a new performance wing. Even the doors, the side mirrors, and the headlight's air vents are replaced with new carbon-fiber components.

Are there any updates made under the hood?

TopCar left the 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V-8 engine untouched, but is not like it needed any updates. From factory it delivers a total of 755 horsepower at 7,500 rpm, and 590 pound-feet of twist at 5,500 rpm. Power is sent to the wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The car goes from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.7 seconds and from 0 to 124 mph in 7.2 seconds. Top speed is 205 mph.

How much does the McLaren 765LT Spider Carbon Edition Cost?

TopCar is offering two different versions of its new Carbon Edition upgrade. The first version is offered in visible carbon - twill 2x2 or 4x4 - and is priced at €113,405 ($116,000). The second version is made from visible carbon - stealth - and it is priced at €141,726 ($145,000). When you add in the price for the base McLaren 765LT Spider - €364,000 ($373,000) you end up with a McLaren that will cost you more than €500,000 (about $512,000 at the current exchange rates).
