Although still hot off the production line, the Mercedes Benz SL63 AMG is already one of the sportiest models in the German automaker’s luxury car lineup. But for tuners like Kicherer, sporty is not enough, so they started by upping the output to 560 HP.

Continued after the jump.

Like we said before, 525 HP from the factory would be enough for most, however in the land of tuning there is no such thing as enough. So using what they already knew about the 6.2 Liter hand built AMG V8 from their K60 Evo, Kicherer added another 35 HP into the mix and brought the wheel spinning force up to 495 lb-ft of torque.

This much power enables the Kicherer built SL to hit 60 MPH in only 4.3 seconds, about 0.3 seconds quicker than the standard model. The SL will get to 120 MPH in 14.2 seconds from a standstill and keep on going until hitting an electronically limited top speed of 198.8 MPH.

Working in unison with the upgraded power plant is an aggressive fully functional carbon fiber aero kit that can even be fitted to your SL without the high horsepower performance upgrades. The unique front apron reduces lift over the front axle and the rear diffuser keeps the back end planted. The SL now rides on ultra light weight 20 inch RS-1 aluminum alloys and offers a set of sports exhaust tailpipes, shaded rear lights and a special trunk cover to finish off the exterior appearance.

Kicherer upgraded the interior with an F1-style steering wheel with carbon gearshift paddles, extra gauges and additional carbon trim. The price for the upgrade, minus the price of the Mercedes SL, begins at 21,765 Euros (around $32,000).
