Mercedes-Benz teased the Vision EQXX concept car for the first time back in October 2020 during its strategy update presentation. But, because Mercedes had big expectations from this concept car, the actual development took longer than expected.

Now, the Vision EQXX is finally ready for its official presentation and we will have a first look on it on Monday 3 January 2022 at 6.00 pm (CET) during a digital world premiere. After that, the concept will be presented at the 2022 CES from 5 to 8 January 2022.

Mercedes described the Vision EQXX as the "most efficient vehicle the brand has ever built. It is a statement that underscores not only the innovative strength of Mercedes-Benz, but also its stated aim to “Lead in Electric” and “Lead in Car Software”."

The biggest plan is for the Vision EQXX to have a range of 1,000 kilometers (621 miles) and of course in order to achieve this number you need a car with the perfect aerodynamics. For this, Mercedes designers took their inspirations from things in nature and designed and redesigned the concept many times. In the end, the concept will feature many movable body parts and retractable diffusers.

And of course, the concept had to be kept as real as possible as it apparently previews a future electric vehicle. If the design team managed to obtain this or not we should find out in just a few days! Stay tuned!
