The Mercedes E-Class Coupe will be revealed at the 2009 Geneva motor show. The car is codenamed C206 and will replace the current CLK. The E-Class Coupe was previewed by Fascination Concept at the Paris Auto Show.

The C206 will borrow engines and transmissions from the new E-class. That should mean total international availability should include a choice of four, six and eight cylinder direct-injection gas and single- and twin-turbo diesels.

After the regular models hit the streets, expect an AMG version with a 481bhp 6.2-liter V8 by the end of 2009, followed by an even hotter lightweight 525bhp Black Series model.
