Mercedes has just announced the pricing for the upcoming 2010 E63 AMG sports sedan for the European market. The high performance four-door will go on sale this August and start at around 105,800 Euros (about $150,000 at the current exchange rates). The E63 will make its way to the U.S. three months behind the European car in November.

The quickest member of the E-Class family will be powered by the hand built AMG 6.2 Liter V8, putting out 518 HP. The engine will be mated to a Speedshift MCT seven-speed double-clutch automatic transmission and will have four different driving modes: Controlled Efficiency, Sport, Sport Plus and Manual. The complete package should be good for a 0 to 60 MPH time of 4.5 seconds, and top speed limited to Germany’s standard 155 MPH.

For those AMG enthusiasts awaiting a coupe version, sorry it looks like it won’t be happening anytime soon especially because that would definitely ruin any chance for a future CLK AMG, but Mercedes will be making a factory tuned version of the future E-Class coupe.
