The Mercedes SL65 AMG is an amazing car all on its own, but then tuners decide to take it under their wing and transform it from a bird to a soaring eagle. Take Renntech, for example. This auto tuner has just unveiled a new Series Performance Package for the Mercedes SL65 AMG Black Series to boost power while performing minimal modifications.

Let’s compare. Last week, we brought you the Mercedes SL65 AMG Black Series by Brabus that was tuned up to an impressive 800hp. This week, thanks to the ECU/TCU tuning, dual intercooler pump upgrade, and sport mufflers, we can now bring you the V12 Bi-Turbo by Renntech delivering an impressive 805 HP and 1000 lbs-ft of torque. That’s an incredible upgrade from the 670hp the Mercedes produced before and a 5hp boost from the previously tuned model.

The price for this package is $16,390, but Renntech is also offering a transmission upgrade and limited slip differential in order to further improve your sports car.

Hit the jump to hear the sounds of the newest and possibly the best tuned up Mercedes SL65 AMG Black Series and check out the press release while you are there.

Yeah! I think this was the highest power output for a SL65 AMG that I have seen. It seems that the Bi-turbo is much powerful compare the twin turbocharged!

There is a current production of this Mercedes model. And I have to say that it’s kind of less powerful. The engine performance of the car is much better compare to the newer model. I guess they have made better with the help of this tuning company.

Mercedes never used to use a more technology like v12, and it made me think that they were v8 dude! The power output of the car is very impressive and the modified interior makes it more sporty.

I never expect that a Mercedes car can boost their engine performance up to 800 hp and 600 lb/ft of torque. It seems that Renntech have made an impressive tuning for this vehicle.

Another pointless creation. I just can’t see Mercedes as sports car manufacture! I’d rather get the 911 turbo or one of the work of Arts (Aston V8 Vantage, DB9, or a slightly used DBS)I don’t see any advantage on this tuning package.
The car already has issues related to transfer all its power to the ground! Now with 1300Nm? lol, don’t expect much from this €10k ECU, because the rest is all.

Engine performance has been improved by tweaking the ECU, upgrading the intercooler pumps and fitting sport mufflers. They release a upgraded and high performance tuning kit called MKB that takes you from the SL65 Black’s stock 661 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque to an even 1,000 hp (claimed, of course) and 959 lb-ft of torque!
So it means that You should be running under 10 seconds at 140 mph with that kind of HP. Must be severely attraction limited or not making the claimed HP.

This car was more impressive with the 1000 ft-lbs of torque put out by the Renntech car, elevating the SL65 from “mere” super car status, to the highest echelons of the automotive world.

Oh just like a big bang super car with the horses I bet it can run as fast as 200MPH.

Dang! That horses is not a joke. I wonder how fast it is. They didn’t include the MPH here.
