The patent drawings for the future Mercedes SLS AMG roadster were revealed a couple of months ago and since then we have seen a few photos of the SLS as it has been caught testing. Of course, since we don't get tired of looking at cars that have yet to come out, we have found another picture of the Mercedes. This time the sportscar was spotted arriving at an airport in Texas still outfitted with the black wrap although a lot of it has been removed from the front of the car. We can only assume these mules were in Texas getting tested for one thing or another. The official debut of the future Mercedes SLS AMG roadster won't be made until late 2011 at the Paris Auto Show with sales beginning in 2012 at a price of around $200,000.

Like with the SLS AMG Coupe, the roadster version will be powered by the same 563 HP 6.3L V8 engine as found in the coupe version. The drop top Benz will be able to sprint from 0 to 60 MPH in around 4 seconds and reach a top speed around 200 MPH.
