The patent drawings for the future Mercedes SLS AMG roadster were revealed a couple of months ago and since then we have seen a few photos of the SLS as it has been caught testing. Of course, since we don’t get tired of looking at cars that have yet to come out, we have found another picture of the Mercedes. This time the sportscar was spotted arriving at an airport in Texas still outfitted with the black wrap although a lot of it has been removed from the front of the car. We can only assume these mules were in Texas getting tested for one thing or another. The official debut of the future Mercedes SLS AMG roadster won’t be made until late 2011 at the Paris Auto Show with sales beginning in 2012 at a price of around $200,000.

Like with theSLS AMG Coupe, the roadster version will be powered by the same 563 HP 6.3L V8 engine as found in the coupe version. The drop top Benz will be able to sprint from 0 to 60 MPH in around 4 seconds and reach a top speed around 200 MPH.

Hey! Although this car is gas guzzler but the figure performance of this car is quite impressive! BTW, it was released recently and the output is not that disappointing.

it seems that even before the same problem was encountered by this car. Imagine, this car is gas guzzler and I think its heavier. I could actually buy an Aventador in that price!

They are making a lot of adjustments out of it. The weight is different from the coupe. ABS, Traction control and Aero dynamic is needed to be adjust.

This car is going to be beautiful. I think it will benefit from not having those thick B- ars.

I agree.. they will for sure but i hope it doesn’t affect the aero dynamic of the car.

Nothing has been changed much just the performance, is still the same as the hardtop.
