The SLS AMG will be powered by a hand built 6.2 liter AMG V8 engine that puts out a total of 571 HP, which is over 50 HP more than the status confirming AMG CL63 that shares the same engine design. The SLS will weigh in at just under 3575 pounds means that every horsepower being developed by the V8 has to push around about 6.25 pounds of gull wing, this allows the super car to accelerate from 0 to 60 MPH in only 3.8 seconds on its way to a top speed of 195 MPH.

The red SLS in the photos looks eerily similar to the same model Top Speed showed being propelled by two man power. In order to get an unobstructed view of the future SLS we will just have to wait for the car’s official debut in Frankfurt, lets hope that AMG has sorted out all the bugs by then.
