Under the hood there is a 2,27 liter 2.3RR engine that with a little modifications made to the ECU, a turbo system, intercooler and a new cooling system now delivers 650 hp. The car also features a Brembo Monobloc GT front and rear brake kit, an upgraded suspension, Forgeline EV3 18x9.5 rims and Hankook Ventus competition tires.

I hope you get better mileage than my Mazda RX-8 at 18MPG. Last time I checked the 2010 EVO X MR was getting 16-17MPG

Agreed. A lot of tuning and choosing the right parts to modify and change is really important. The video is awesome and the car looks so powerful and fast. It would have been great if it were side by side by a tuned GT-R or Imprezza. Those are the three favorites of mine that I always like to see head to head.

@AdrianSmith andress is right 650Hp is not surprising for evo, even an FF car can have that kind of HP under the hood, it just need a lot of tuning to have that kind of HP, even a thousand HP to a car, but tuning it with that kind of speed requires a lot of Time and effort and of course money.

It’s not that shocking anymore that an Evo have a horsepower like that. There are many German mechanics who did this kind of modification although the power was not the same as this tune-up, the sprint time is totally outstanding compared to this tune-up, well fair enough IMO.
