Ford vs Chevy battles almost never run out of steam just as it has been the case for several decades now

This latest duel put out by the Wheels YouTube Channel, sees a Mustang GT take on a C7 Corvette Stingray

I can't confirm the exact specs of either car. But with both cars rocking body kits and maybe, stickier rubber, I wouldn't be surprised if they're sitting on stickier rubber

To get some perspective, let's look at the stock numbers. The Ford is rocking a 5.0-L V-8 that puts out 460 hp and 420 lb-ft. The Stang tips the scales at 3891 lbs

The Chevy meanwhile has the legendary 6.2-L LT1 V-8 that produces 455 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. C7 tips the scales at 3347 lbs, more than 500 lbs lighter than the Mustang

From a dig, it seemed like the Ford got the better start, however the driver in the Mustang messed up the start

As a result, the C7 went for the kill and stays in the lead to take the win
