Ram launched the 2021 1500 TRX in August this year and it came with impressive specs and features. Given that it’s an FCA product, we knew that there will be no dearth of aftermarket accessories and that will give the truck a major edge over the F-150 Raptor.

The automaker even announced that will be available with more than 100 Mopar accessories like off-road lights, beadlock-capable wheel rings, and so on, right from the launch. Ram has now officially launched the products and gave out the part number and prices for a few of them.

These Add-Ons Will Make The TRX Even More Rugged

Bed-mounted spare-tire carrier ($995): Unless you absolutely need all the space in the truck bed, this bed-mounted spare-tire carrier is a must-have accessory. The company mentions that it features a base layer of corrosion protection, a painted E-coat, and a black-powder finish for durability. The carrier can hold up to a 37-inch spare tire and swapping it will be quite in case of a flat while off-roading.

RamBar ($1,195): A RamBar will certainly enhance the looks of the truck and even serves as a mounting board for LED light bars. Ram says that the RamBar is more than just cosmetic as it includes tie-downs for in-bed storage. This powder-coated, matte-black finished product is mounted using stake pockets, thus avoiding major alterations to the truck bed. The company has mentioned that it is developed to mount Mopar’s five-inch LED lights atop.

Off-road LED Lights ($595): Off-road LED lights are immensely helpful if you’re looking for extra illumination, but they also look pretty darn cool when not in use. Ram’s set of five-inch LED off-road lights are available to mount on top of the RamBar. They shine at 4,800 lumens, which should be more than sufficient in most cases. The set also includes two light covers with the Mopar logo, a wiring harness, and a switch.

Off-road rock rails ($1,195): Rock rails are a must if you intend to take your truck off the roads often. These rock rails by Mopar are made from aluminum and are attached using high-strength steel brackets. Not to mention, they also allow for easy ingress and egress.

Off-road running boards ($995): These are made from lightweight cast aluminum and have an anti-slip texture coating on them. Given it’s a factory-backed accessory, the fit will be tight and no drilling will be done to install it.

Bed step ($395): Mopar had recently introduced a retractable bed step for the standard 1500 models, and this is pretty much the same, too. This bed step can be pulled out and retracted with a gentle push and is load-rated for up to 350 pounds. Once retracted, it is hidden out of plain sight.

Bed rails with adjustable tie-downs ($250): These bed rails are made of anodized aluminum and will be attached to the inside walls of the truck bed and feature adjustable cleats that slide along to accommodate cargo of various sizes. It even works with other Mopar accessories like sliding tool boxes, sport-utility bars, and a cargo-bed divider.

Beadlock-capable wheel rings ($205): These wheel rings are made for the optional Beadlock wheels and provide maximum traction during desert runs and off-roading scenes that require you to lower the tire pressure. They are made of tough forged aluminum with a silver finish and clamp to the outer tire bead of the rim.

All-weather floor mats ($165): These are self-explanatory. The all-weather mats are made of heavy-duty rubber and feature a red Ram logo. They cover the carpets completely to protect them from getting soiled and stained. The set includes two front mats and one interlocking second-row runner.

Final Thoughts

Jeep had earlier stated sometime back that a Wrangler owner spends $800 on an average on accessories, whereas Gladiator owners spend around $1,000. No wonder they focus on making them available right from the time the vehicle is launched.

These are just a few products that the company has unveiled. Apart from the 100+ products announced specifically for the 1500 TRX, there will certainly be a lot of products available for the standard 1500 models that can be equipped on the TRX as well. We’ll have to wait for the whole guide to come out.
