Morgan may still build cars that look like they were designed in the 1930s, but they're actually as modern as they get under the shell. The British company just redesigned the Plus Six and Plus Four on brand-new aluminum platforms and it's now showcasing its ability to deliver bespoke cars with a pair of limited-edition models based on the Plus Six and 3 Wheeler. They're called LE60 and celebrate 60 years of Morgan's partnership with Dutch dealership Louwman Exclusive.

Five cars with bespoke detailing

The LE60 collection includes just five cars. Of the four Plus Six models, two are painted Ice Blue, and two are finished in Scintilla Silver.

The Ice Blue Plus Six rides on 19-inch alloys wheels, larger than usual, in a wire design. The blue paint is highlighted by yellow accents on the brake calipers, spotlight casings, and the decals on the engine hood. The theme continues inside the cabin with black pebble-texture leather with yellow diamond stitching, "LE60" embroidery, a matte tawny wood dashboard, and a "60 years" badge on the center tunnel.

The Scintilla Silver pair also features yellow detailing, but in a different pattern. What's more, the 19-inch wire wheels were replaced by 18-inch Speedster wheels in black. The exterior also includes yellow brake calipers, a yellow number six painted within the front grille, and a yellow band around the edge of the hood. Inside, there's yellow stitching and "LE60" embroidery, and a dashboard and tunnel top in body color. Needless to say, while the blue models look classy, the silver versions boast a sportier vibe.

While these details are unique to the LE60 edition, the drivetrain remains identical to the standard model. But this isn't bad news, as the Plus Six now comes with a powerful 3.0-liter inline-six from BMW. The turbocharged unit cranks out 335 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque and enables the Plus Six to hit 62 mph in just 4.2 seconds.

You'll see them on the headlamps casings, on the engine hood vents, as well as on the brake calipers. It features the same yellow "60 Years" embroidery and stitching on the seats, but it also comes with a laser-engraved design on the leather dashboard. The green and yellow combination is by far the most exciting, but I might be subjective since I'm nuts about the 3 Wheeler.

Unlike the Plus Six, the 3 Wheeler is an older design, dating back to 2012. Power comes from an S&S 2.0-liter engine with either 68 or 82 horsepower. The quickest version hits 62 mph in six seconds, toward a top speed of 115 mph.
