Back in 2002 Lamborghini replaced their sleek bodied super car, the legendary Diablo with the more modern Murcielago. In only a few years, the Lambo-bat will suffer a similar fate, being replaced by the next generation of ultra luxurious, super fast Italian status symbol.

It is very likely that the next raging bull will be put on a strict diet of an aluminum space frame like the R8 from Audi and a carbon fiber unique to Lamborghini, in order to maintain outstanding agility. The engine will still be a V12 and will still sit behind the driver’s head, providing the perfect placement to hear all 675 HP of the likely 6.5 Liter super car engine. Now the photo above is only a rendering, but according to officials from the Volkswagen Group, the future design language of Lamborghini will be much like the Reventon. With its sharp edges and jutting overhangs that distinguish this fighter jet inspired extreme machine from the Italian automaker.
