Ford is going all guns blazing leading to the unveiling event. From starting an official page on Instagram just a month before its debut to planning long-slot commercials well in advance, Ford is giving the reincarnated moniker the royal treatment it deserves. The planning is so intricate that even the reveal plan for the Bronco is planned well in advance.
According to Bronco6g, Ford will be releasing a teaser showing the silhouette of all the different body types – including the two-door version – of the Bronco on July 6. Not just this; the image that will be posted is also leaked on the forum!
The Bronco Is 2021 Looks Ready To Go Off-Roading!
The teaser shows the four-door Bronco, the Bronco Sport, and the two-door Bronco without the top and the doors.
The drop-top and removable doors option will play a big role in the Bronco’s sales and Ford understands that too. Ford has filed patents for the removable doors and is trying to make the process as simple as possible so that Bronco owners can take them out with ease. In fact, the owners will be able to store the doors inside the SUV instead of leaving them out in the garage. Another good thing here, unlike the Wrangler, is that the wing mirrors will be mounted on the A-pillar instead of the doors so that they stay on the frame even when the doors are taken out.
Another user also tried to work out the dimensions of the two-door Bronco vis-à-vis the two-door Jeep Wrangler. We won’t get into the details of the measurement estimations here and will wait for the official dimensions to be announced. Another post on the forum also gave out the social media teaser schedule. Ford Ties Up With Disney To Reveal The Bronco On The Latter’s Media Network
Jim Farley, Ford’s COO, said, “Ford Bronco is an icon that has captured people’s imaginations and inspired them to explore the most remote corners of America and the world since the 1960s.”
He further added, “As a new era for Bronco begins, we’re proud to tap the strengths of epic adventurers like Jimmy Chin and Disney storytellers to help bring Bronco to life and inspire millions of people to get out into the wild.”
Where And When Can You Watch It?
This is how the Bronco’s reveal will take place on Disney’s network, according to Automotive World:
On ABC, the Bronco will be featured in a three-minute film starring country music singer Kip Moore during “CMA Best of Fest,” the Country Music Association’s three-hour concert experience, airing Monday, July 13 (8:00–11:00 p.m. ET).
On ESPN, a film featuring a different Bronco model and professional climber Brooke Raboutou will air during “SportsCenter.”
On National Geographic, Academy Award-winning director and acclaimed cinematographer, photographer and professional climber Jimmy Chin will spotlight another Bronco during “National Parks: Yosemite.” Additionally, Chin will judge a hashtag challenge contest and appear in an Instagram Story featuring the Bronco on NatGeo’s Instagram account.
All three custom films will be available on-demand on Hulu on July 14. The films will be available to viewers through interactive ad formats, and within a curated collection of outdoor and survival-themed content aligned with the Bronco lifestyle.
The videos will also be aired on Ford channels. It will be streamed on Ford’s YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter channels starting at 8:00 p.m. ET on July 13. Here, of course, it will be more detailed.
