The 2021 Ram Rebel TRX has kept truck enthusiasts at the edge of their seats. With every leak that’s surfaced on the internet, the TRX just seems to look better every time. In all fairness, quite a bit is already known about the truck and it’s only a matter of time before we start spotting the production-version TRXs with minimum camouflage. For now, TFLoffroad has received a few images from an anonymous source, this time showing the cabin as well as the stuff under the hood. Are we excited? Hell yeah!

The Seats Look Sporty

A few leaked images earlier showed the instrument console and the control panel with the drive modes. This time, we get to see some other bits. One of the images shows us the leather seats that will be offered on the TRX. The black leather with red stitching looks very good. TRX is also embroidered under the headrest that further adds to the pizzazz. If this is a hint of what to expect, things will be quite plush inside the cabin.

This Is What The Gear Shifter Will Look Like

Finally, there is a picture of the console-mounted gear shifter and that confirms all the rumors that the Rebel TRX will not feature the rotary dial shifter. The shifter has a sports mode with a manual mode as well. The shifter itself has perforated leather at the top and silver inserts on the sides. The black leather cover at the base also features red stitching. Aluminum paddle shifters are also expected to feature behind the steering wheel.

There are a couple of storage spaces around the console, too. You can also see the illuminated USB ports and auxiliary port here in this image. Along with the standard USB ports, Ram will also offer a couple of USB C-type ports. This is good news if connectivity is important to you.

That’s A Huge Air Intake!

In another image, you can see the supercharger that is paired to the 6.2-liter, V-8 Hellcat engine.

If you notice carefully, you can see the SRT badge with the Hellcat logo on it. A picture of the massive air intake is also leaked. It has the RAM lettering at the base.

Ram Taking A Dig At Ford Through An Easter Egg

The Ram Rebel TRX also comes with an Easter egg at the bottom of the center console. The automaker has taken a dig at its primary rival here. It seems to be a scale comparison between a human, the Rebel TRX truck, the Tyrannosaurus Rex dinosaur, after which this truck is named, and a little dino in front of it which is the Raptor. Even the placement of the ‘creatures’ is clever and could be comprehended as the T-Rex attacking the Raptor. It all depends on how you perceive it. We would’ve liked this to be discovered by the owners themselves, but this is too exciting to not be shared.

The Rebel TRX Will Feature A Trailer Steering System

This is an interesting development. There was no news or rumor earlier about the Ram Rebel TRX featuring a Trailer Steering System. This is most probably similar to Ford’s Pro-Trailer Backup Assist. It is a knob that helps you steer the trailer hitched to your truck. This isn’t present on any other Ram truck for now, but you can expect it to trickle down the lineup in the future.

What Does The 2021 Ram Rebel TRX Sound Like?

The truck was also spotted with heavy camouflage in the Nevada desert. Although the physical details are tough to decipher from it, you can still notice the crosshair grille, thanks to the lighting and wind blend. You can even hear the truck roar, although the supercharger whine isn’t audible here. As we approach closer to the launch date, the truck will hopefully be spotted more frequently.

Final Thoughts

With every leak, we are left even more impressed. The center console shifter looks swell and is a much better choice than the rotary dial. We didn’t get a good look at the upholstery all around the cabin, but the Rebel TRX is expected to receive leather, Alcantara, and suede treatment.

The red stitching on black leather seats and gear lever sure seem sporty. Ram knows it has a good product with it, but it isn’t being too modest about it. The TRX has the potential to take down the F-150 Raptor and it is taking a dig at its rival by sporting Easter eggs in the cabin using dinosaurs.

If I were to pick my favorite leaked image, I’d be torn between the Easter egg and the console-mounter gear shifter. Which one was your favorite? Share your thoughts with us in the comments section below.
