Earlier this week, the 2021 Ford Bronco was leaked in what we believe to be production form. We saw the Bronco Sport (aka the baby bronco), as well as the Bronco in two-door and four-door body styles. Before the hype from that scoop could die down, two more photos have surfaced that show the Bronco even more clearly.

One of the photos shows a black four-door Bronco from the rear three-quarter, whereas the other one shows it from the front three-quarter. But, what’s more surprising is that you can see a two-door Bronco without the roof in the background as well! The photos were revealed by ‘The Raptor Connection’ on their Facebook profile and were later shared on the Bronco6G forum as well.

Will the New Bronco Really Have a Retro Look?

In the first pic, you can see the four-door Bronco undergoing some sort of an emission-related test with equipment connected to its exhaust pipe. Unlike the images of the Bronco from the previous leak, this one wears slightly less rugged tires on gunmetal-shade Beadlock-style wheels. There is no denying that the Bronco looks quite similar to the Jeep Wrangler in many ways – the boxy looks, the swinging tailgate, etc. When compared to the Bronco Sport, the Bronco is a completely different beast.

In the second image, you can see that the hood of the Bronco is quite long. There is a bulge on it as well. Earlier reports suggested that it will be mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission, but a manual gearbox could be offered as well. We spoke about the placement of the side mirrors previously. They aren’t placed on the doors and neither on the A-pillar. In this image, you can see the sheer size of these units. The extend out quite a bit and will be vulnerable to getting hit, especially while parking it in tight spaces. There is a handle on either end of the hood here. I don’t see any functional purpose for this. Maybe to equip some official accessories later on.

The Roofless Bronco Looks Like The Wrangler

Although it isn’t very clear, we now know what the roofless Bronco will look like. From this angle, the roofless Bronco looks very similar to the Wrangler, doesn’t it? The only big thing left now is to see how the removable doors work on this as Ford has patented a latch system that is a lot less complicated than the system on the Wrangler.

The Bronco and the Bronco Sport seem to be two absolutely different vehicles. From the looks of it, the Bronco might just be the perfect old-school SUV without any fancy electronic shenanigans. If you want a more tech-friendly, urban SUV, the Bronco Sport is the one for you. It’s a good thing that Ford has set both these Broncos apart. This way, they get to cater to different target audiences without having to offer everything under one model itself. For purists, you have the Bronco, and for people looking for a more civilized ride but with the Bronco heritage, you have the Bronco Sport.
