According to the English automotive journal Autocar, there will be a few added benefits for the Italian automotive conglomerate FIAT absorbing the American car builder Chrysler.
Apparently the next generation Alfa Romeo 169 will be built on the same platform as the Dodge Charger.
Starting in 2011, the new model will be built at the Bramalea Production facility in Brampton, Ontario Canada.
Will this be the first Italian muscle car in the history of the automobile?
Probably not, but the European design team will be damned if they aren’t going to try.
