The new Porsche 911 992 is one of the most expected vehicles to appear this decade. We all know it is coming, we all know Porsche is testing it all over the world, but we did not know that Porsche was hard-testing the 2020 Porsche 911 992 GT3 version at the Monza. But it did and the driver didn’t hold back if we can judge by the video we have here.

N/A Engine?

Moreover, this video can reveal a number of important things about the car. First of all, if we take into account the size of exterior aero additions, we can safely assume that this is the next 2020 911 GT3. It may even be the one with the Touring package. You know, the one Porsche unveiled only recently and said it adds a few creature comforts for the driver.

While the new 911 GT3 isn’t something unexpected, we can safely assume that the new model will retain the naturally aspirated engine. If it does, it may be the last of the N/A powered Porsches ever produced. If the 992 911 GT3 ends up being powered by an N/A engine (and it is likely), I can say that this act is Porsche doing a favor to its trusted enthusiasts. That says something about the company, doesn’t it?

Six-Speed Manual?

At one point in the video, you can even see them light up under heavy braking. The test driver obviously pushes this thing to its absolute limits. The power, engine in this car develops, isn’t disclosed. The current one pushes out 500 horsepower out of a 4.0-liter six cylinder. I can only imagine that the new one will develop even more power. I am betting on the 550 horsepower mark or something close. The other thing the Internet is buzzing about is the seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Yet, many do believe that Porsche will do yet another favor for the fans - a six-speed manual transmission for the 992 911 GT3.

It’s Coming In 2021 Probably

The new Porsche 911 should come fairly soon. The 911 GT3 will follow shortly possibly getting in the showrooms and on the track in early 2021. Apart from the 991 GT3, one can expect to see the 911 GT3 RS, the 911 GT2, and numerous other versions.
