Hyundai will unveil a new generation Coupe in September at the Paris Motor Show. According to the recent spy shots, the new Coupe will be a shorter model, with quite a long and flat-looking rear deck. The exterior design will be inspired by the 2007 Veloster concept.

What will be very interesting about the new Hyundai Coupe is that it will have an asymmetric body. There will be two doors on the left-hand side of the car to make entry to the rear of the cabin easier from the curb. Under the hood there will be the new 1.6-liter, direct-injection ‘Theta’ engine that delivers a total of 140 HP for the entry level model and 200 Hp for a later version.

The new Hyundai Coupe is a direct competitor to models like the Volkswagen Scirocco and will go on sale early next year.
