After you've seen spy images of the 998 Turbo and next generation Boxster, here's new images of the next 911 set to be revealed in 2011.

As you can see from the spy pictures, the side air-intakes in front of the rear wheels are fakes – and so is the huge rear wing which hides the shape of the smaller spoiler of the standard 911s.

Compared to 997, on the 998's front lights are standing more upright and the side mirrors have moved from the side window corner to the side of the door.

The 998 will still be powered by a water-cooled flat-six engine, only now the automatic transmission available will be the quick-shift PDK dual-clutch transmission. Expect the next generation 911 Turbo by 2011.
