Sometimes the action on screen can get a little too real, as was the case with the stuntman in Nicholas Cage's latest film "The Sorcerer's Apprentice," based on the epic poem that inspired the Disney animated classic "Fantasia."

Aparently the driver got a little too excited during the chase scene between his Ferrari was in pursuit of a Mercedes when the mid engined F-430 understeered on the slick Seventh Avenue, jumped the curb and injured two. The injuries were not life threatening and the victims were taken to Bellevue Hospital just to be treated.

Video after the jump.
