Just a few days after the Spectre name and the bespoke 2015 Aston Martin DB10 for the 24th James Bond were unveiled, it's being reported that a total of nine cars specifically prepared for the movie have been stolen. According to German outlets, all of the cars were stolen from the Land Rover->ke46 Training Center near Dusseldorf, Germany.

Of the nine cars stolen, which combined have an estimated value of €800,000 ($985,700 as of 12/08/2014), five of them were Range Rover Sport->ke4087 models customized for the upcoming James Bond Spectre film, set to premier on November 6th, 2015. German website Wirtschafts Woche has reported that the the stolen vehicles were last seen while being prepared for transportation on a movie set located somewhere in the Alps.

The vehicles went missing after than moment with German police claiming they can’t find any trace to the whereabouts of any of the nine cars. As a result, filming has been put on hold until new vehicles are customized for the new action flick featuring Agent 007.

Well, it seems as if Mr. Bond has quite a mystery on his hands before Spectre is projected to hit the big screen. It takes a massive effort to make nine vehicles disappear without a trace, and if I didn't know any better, I'd say it's the work of Harry Houdini himself. Stranger things have happened though, and at the end of the day what matters is the filming has been put on hold. Hopefully, Spectre won't see any delays and that gorgeous DB10 makes it to the silver screen on time.
