Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) today announced 2007 model year pricing for Frontier mid-size pickup, Titan full-size pickup and Pathfinder, Murano, Xterra and Armada sport utility vehicles (SUVs). 


Other 2007 Nissan models include the redesigned Nissan Quest minivan, which was introduced in May; the greatly refined Nissan Maxima, which went on sale in June; and the all-new Nissan Versa Hatchback, which was introduced in July and receives a $100 price increase effective August 31.  The all-new Nissan Sentra is scheduled to go on sale in October, followed by the all-new Nissan Altima in November.


Following is an overview of the pricing and features of the various new 2007 Nissan models being released in September.  Complete lists of 2007 Manufacturers’ Suggested Retail Prices (MSRPs) by model are available on the attached sheets.  Destination and Handling charges have been increased between $10 and $45 depending on model (effective Sept. 1).


2007 Nissan Armada


Prices for the 2007 Nissan Armada start at $34,950 for the SE 4x2 and SE 4x2 FFV models.  Armada LE 4x2 and LE 4x2 FFV models are $40,250.  Armada 4x4 models begin at $37,750 for the SE 4x4 and SE 4x4 FFV models, while the LE 4x4 and LE 4x4 FFV models are priced at $43,050.


 The Nissan Armada remains a leader in the full-size SUV segment with a powerful standard V8, standard seating for eight and outstanding towing capacity.  Armada owners voted it number one in its segment in the J.D. Power and Associates 2006 Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study.  For 2007, Armada receives a power increase – to 317 horsepower (from 305 hp) – and the capacity for E85-capable Flexible Fuel Vehicle (FFV) technology at no-cost in select regions.


2007 Nissan Frontier


The 2007 Nissan Frontier King Cab pricing starts at an MSRP of $16,050 for the Frontier King Cab XE 4x2 with manual transmission and goes up to $25,600 for the Frontier King Cab LE 4x4.  Frontier Crew Cab models range from a starting MSRP of $20,800 for the Frontier Crew Cab SE 4x2 with manual transmission to $27,500 for the Frontier Crew Cab LE LWB 4x4 with 5-speed automatic transmission.


The 2007 Frontier mid-size pickup adds even more features from its extensive 2005 redesign and 2006 enhancements, including an available Crew Cab Long Bed (LWB) configuration.  These two new Crew Cab models, the Crew Cab SE and LE Long Bed, feature a bed that is 13.8 inches longer than the standard Crew Cab bed.


Also new for 2007 is a King Cab XE Appearance Package, new Value Truck Packages on SE models, and a new exterior color – Desert Stone.


2007 Nissan Murano


The 2007 Nissan Murano is available in front-wheel drive (FWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) models.  Murano S FWD starts at $27,750, with the Murano SL FWD model at $29,300.  Three AWD Murano models are offered: the fully equipped Murano S AWD at $29,350, the luxurious Murano SL AWD at $30,900 and the sporty Murano SE AWD at $31,850.

 

Now in its fifth year in the Nissan lineup, the 2007 Murano crossover sport utility vehicle continues to combine innovative design, multipurpose functionality and sports-sedan ride and performance.  Owners voted Murano number one in its segment in the J.D. Power and Associates 2006 APEAL Study.  For the new model year, Murano adds a standard Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and seat belt warning lamp.  All Muranos come with a standard 240-horsepower 3.5 DOHC V6 and advanced Xtronic™ CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission), providing smooth acceleration and efficient performance.


2007 Nissan Pathfinder


 The 2007 Nissan Pathfinder is offered in three 4x2 models and four 4x4 models, all with a standard 266 horsepower 4.0-liter V6 and 5-speed automatic transmission.  Pricing for the 4x2 models include the Pathfinder 4x2 S at $25,600, the Pathfinder 4x2 SE at $26,850 and the Pathfinder 4x2 LE at $33,800.  The Pathfinder 4x4 S starts at a MSRP of $27,600, with the Pathfinder 4x4 SE at $28,850, the Pathfinder 4x4 SE Off-Road at $31,650 and the Pathfinder 4x4 LE at $36,000.


Remaining true to the adventure roots of the original model, Pathfinder adds minor refinements in 2007, including the addition of a front-passenger auto up/down and auto reverse front power windows, an available auxiliary audio jack integrated into the standard sound system, improved California Emissions certification and a new exterior color – Desert Stone. 


2007 Nissan Titan


The 2007 Nissan Titan is offered in King Cab and Crew Cab body configurations and in 2-wheel and 4-wheel drive.  All models come equipped with a standard 5.6-liter V8 and 5-speed automatic transmission.


King Cab pricing starts at an MSRP of $23,700 for the Titan King Cab XE 4x2 and go up to $33,700 for the Titan King Cab LE 4x4.  Crew Cab models range from a starting MSRP of $26,550 for the Titan Crew Cab XE 4x2 to $36,200 for the Titan Crew Cab LE 4x4.


For 2007, the Nissan Titan continues to offer features that are unmatched in class, including a high-utility bed that includes an industry-first factory-applied spray-on bedliner, Utili-track tie-down system and an integrated lockable bedside storage compartment.  Titan receives a power increase in 2007 to 317 horsepower (from 305 hp) and 385 lb-ft of torque (from 379 lb-ft).  New SE and LE Chrome Packages are available with chrome 18-inch wheels, step rails and mirror caps, plus fog lamps and special instrument panel graphics.  Also available is an LE Texas Titan Package (in addition to the previously available SE Texas Titan Package).  Titan offers Flexible Fuel Vehicle (FFV) technology at no-cost in select regions.


2007 Nissan Xterra


 The popular Nissan Xterra is again offered in a wide range of models in 2007 and with both manual and automatic transmissions and 2-wheel or 4-wheel drive.  Pricing starts at $20,050 for the Xterra 4x2 X with 6-speed manual transmission and goes up to $27,950 for the Xterra 4x4 SE with 5-speed automatic transmission.


The enhancements for the second generation Xterra, introduced in 2005, continue for the 2007 model year.  Xterra again offers excellent on-road and off-road performance with a standard 261-horsepower 4.0-liter V6.  In addition, Xterra SE models receive standard body side molding and mp3 auto playback as standard, and as an addition to the Rockford Fosgate Audio Package.  4x4 Off-Road Xterras receive a leather-wrapped steering wheel and sunglass holder.  Mudguards are now standard on all 4x4 models.  A new Desert Stone exterior color is also offered for 2007.


2007 Nissan Versa


Pricing has been increased by $100 on all 2007 Nissan Versa hatchback models.  The new MSRPs include the Versa 1.8 S with 6-speed manual transmission at $12,550, the Versa 1.8 S with automatic transmission at $13,350, the Versa 1.8 SL with manual transmission at $14,550 and the Versa 1.8 SL with Xtronic™ CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) at $15,550.


All new for 2007, the Nissan Versa hatchback represents a dynamic no-compromise alternative to current entry-level vehicles.  The 5-door Versa hatchback went on sale in July and features a standard 122-horsepower 1.8-liter DOHC 4-cylinder engine.  The Versa hatchback is available with a long list of standard and available equipment, including available Intelligent Key keyless entry system, Bluetooth® Hands-Free Phone System and satellite radio.
