Jeep isn’t the only automaker now offering factory-backed lift kits. That’s right Nissan is launching a suspension lift for the Titan and Titan XD pickups. The hardware comes from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, a well-respected company that designs and builds suspension lifts and other off-road gear for trucks and SUVs. The lift kit will give Titans up to three inches of additional height while not voiding the truck’s factory warranty.

Nice Lift, Bro

Aftermarket lift kits are extremely popular these days, but such modifications generally result in kissing a factory warranty goodbye. That’s a big deal with any vehicle, but thanks to Nissan’s five year/100,000-mile warranty on the Titan and Titan XD, it meant giving up quite a bit of security.

The ICON suspension will be purchased an installed at local Nissan dealerships and will take roughly four hours to complete. The kit includes adjustable coil-over shocks, custom rod end bearings, and ICON’s “Delta Joint” upper ball joints. In addition to preserving the warranty, the lift kit is completely bolt-on, meaning it can be removed when it’s time to sell or return the truck at the end of a lease.

Nissan says the lift kit also retains the Titan and Titan XD’s payload and towing capacities, which is a big deal for many truck owners. As for the lift kit parts themselves, they are warrantied by ICON.

Nissan hasn’t released pricing for the lift kit but did say availability will begin in the spring of 2018. The kit is designed for Crew Cab 4WD models, so extended and single cab models are out of luck.
