In terms of popularity among sports cars, the Nissan GT-R is just about as popular as any sports car to have been released in recent times. Why else would it have such a tremendous following among car enthusiasts all over the world?

Heck, it even has one of the coolest nicknames – Godzilla - to have been bestowed upon a sports car!

That being said, fans of the GT-R – and we’re pretty sure that they are a whole lot of them – would be thrilled to know that a new coffee table book about the GT-R is now being sold for a pretty modest price tag of £ 39.99 ($61.50).

Continued after the jump.

The book, which is being published by Veloce Publishing, contains just about everything you need to know about the GT-R and its long and illustrious history. From rare photos, to schematics, to every detail of the many unique qualities of the GT-R, this book has it. It comes with a comprehensive guide to the revolutionary supercar and its motorsport record, deeply researched history reveals little known features, a breakdown of unique and rare models from 1957-2009, and a whole feature on the ultimate GT-R Spec V!

The book also offers never-before-seen analyses of the new GT-R R35 and the R35 Spec V as well as over 400 colored pictures of the car in all its unbridled glory.

Needless to say, the Nissan GT-R: Born to Race coffee table book is a must-have for every GT-R fan out there in the world. And even if you don’t consider yourself a fan, this book will surely, at the very least, change your opinion of the GT-R, and in most cases, it will change it for the better.

After the Godzilla (GT-R) has made a very impressive time on the Nurburgring track against Porsche and other cars brands, it is definitely being one of the great choices. I think it has even gone better than it’s usual competitors, the Evo from Mitsubishi and the Impreza from Subaru.

well agree GT-R is mean to race and win on a competition, Nissan has already put and made a legend to the Skyline GT-R, for sure they don’t want others to take that reputation.

I really love the GT-R specially the R34 because of it’s 6 speed manual transmission. isn’t that amazing that no matter how big and heavy this baby it can still out run a Ford Mustang GT5000 Super Snake?
