Some snappers got a quick glance of the track-ready Nissan GT-R FIA GT. According to witness reports the engine sounded distinctly different than the 3.8-liter twin turbo V6 used in the regular GT-R, and could possibly be a V8. If this is GT1-spec car it will also ditch the all-wheel drive for rear power.

While power from the engine has not been confirmed, we don't expect it to dip below 600 hp. Because this is GT1 racing there will be a few de-tuned streetable versions, which should come in the form of the GT-R LM.
